Preposition Webquest
Introduction
In my grandma's dusty attic. On top of the spaghetti and meatballs. Through the hairy nostrils.
What part of speech shows location? A preposition!
In this WebQuest, you will learn what a preposition does and learn to recognize common prepositions.
Task
Through various websites, you will find commonly used prepositions and become familiar with them.
You will also be able to identify prepositional phrases and objects of the preposition.
For this task, you will need paper and pencil.
Process
First, click on the following link.
Write the definition for preposition and look over the most commonly used prepositions in the box.
You may want to write down some of the prepositions on your paper.
After doing that, write 5 sentences on your notebook paper, each containing a preposition.
(Remember, they should be 5th grade level sentences.) Underline each preposition.

On your notebook paper, write the definition for prepositional phrase and two examples from the website.

Watch the movie and take the GRADED QUIZ.
On your notebook paper, record EACH score that you get on the graded quiz.
You may take the quiz AS MANY TIMES AS YOU WOULD LIKE TO ACHIEVE THE HIGHEST GRADE, however, you MUST record your score for EACH ATTEMPT!
Once you have completed the above tasks, raise your hand to call Mrs. Padilla to your seat to collect your paper.
